We are currently providing home delivery of our weekend lunches. If your children are in need supplemental nutrition, please visit our programs page for more information or to register. Grab and go sack lunches are available upon request at the Good Cheer Food Bank. For many young people, school lunch is the main source of their daily nutrition and some go hungry over the weekend or when school is not in session. Our programs strive to bridge the gap for those in need, by delivering fresh, nutritious, ready-to-eat food. Learn more about our programs.
Since 2007, Whidbey Island Nourishes has been an important part of the robust network of organizations supporting those in need on South Whidbey. From a small group of friends distributing 40 self-made sandwiches every week, to a team of volunteers 100-strong working every day to bake, prep, assemble, and deliver over 2500 meals each month.
